HOLIDAY PEACE

The month of December is already here.  It is the busiest month of the year.  It’s a proven fact that more people get stressed out in the month of December than any other month of the year.  Instead of bringing joy to the world it brings stress to the world.

It starts the day after Thanksgiving and goes through the new year and many end up in bondage instead of peace.  December should be the most peaceful and joyful month of the year.  It’s the month that we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  The prophet Isaia referred to him as the Prince of Peace.  He came to give peace to each and every one who would receive him:  People look everywhere and spend thousands of dollars trying to find peace when they have a bible at home on a shelf somewhere which is none other than a dust collector.  God himself inspired the bible to show us how to get real peace and how to keep it.  Jesus himself said that he would give us peace that no-one else could give us.

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” This peace can only be found in a relationship with the Prince of Peace which is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.  Receive him as your Lord and Saviour to experience real peace. Keep Christ in Christmas and enjoy real peace this holiday season.
